Eric Carlier

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Dijon with a Master in International Business from IAE Lyon, Eric Carlier is a renowned  expert in Higher Education and an entrepreneur.

His career can be summed up in two periods working for Higher Education and Training institutions.

  • For nearly 25 years, he has held management positions in major international institutions including l’ESSEC, NEOMA and SKEMA.
    During this period, he was also able to lead major development projects by participating in the opening of the Leonardo da Vinci University Center in Paris La Défense, the establishment and management in Paris of the ESC Lille Group and the creation ‘ex nihilo’ of a business school in Besançon under the auspices of the Doubs Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
    In parallel, he has been heavily involved in the Franco-German University-UFA / DFH- as head of bi and tri national programmes while playing a significant role in the implementation of European programmes for higher education.
  • From 2006, as an entrepreneur, he was able to identify the expectations of institutions and organizations and to support their activities, especially internationally, by creating Lake Park International.

 

  • More generally, he has been a member of the l’EAIE-European Association for International Education- since 1995.
    He has been a member of the panel of expert programme evaluators of the Franco-German University and regularly participates in Peer Review Visits as part of international accreditation procedures conducted by the EFMD - European Foundation for Management Development.
    He has been a member of the British Chamber of Commerce & Industry-FBCCI- for many years.  Eric Carlier contributes to their reflections in the field of Education & Training, especially  those surrounding the question of Higher Education in the context of negotiations on Brexit.
