Professor Baldur H. Veit, LL.D
Baldur H. Veit studied romance languages and literature as well as Sports Science with a focus on Sports Management at Tübingen University.
In addition, he also studied abroad in the USA and France. Subsequently, training to become Assessor of German state degrees of teaching followed.
Since 1989, he has worked at Reutlingen University on internationalization and as the Director of central organization in the RIO (Reutlingen International office).
In 1995, he got a Fulbright-Scholarship and visited several US universities in order to get more familiar with the US-system of higher education and research.
In 2008, he received the LL.D. degree from Valparaiso University IN, USA.
From 2003 until 2015, he served as elected Executive Board Member of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Since 2011, he is the responsible University Executive Internationalization at Reutlingen University and the State coordinator of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany for the cooperation with Kettering University, Michigan (formerly GMI).
He teaches about intercultural management/intercultural communication in the ESB Business School at Reutlingen University and has taught as an honorary professor in the USA, China, and Russia. He is a member of EAIE and NAFSA.
